Italsabi at the Second DRONI Conference – AIPnD

On September 18–19, 2025, the Second Edition of the DRONI Conference – Inspections with Remotely Piloted Systems will take place in Rome, at the INAIL Auditorium. The event is organized by INAIL and AIPnD.

Gianluca Dal Bianco, representing Italsabi S.r.l., will speak as a presenter to share an update on the state of the art in robotic inspections in Italy, with a particular focus on applications in the field of non-destructive testing (NDT).

WHAT IS AN ACCREDITATED LABORATORY ACCORDING TO THE ISO/IEC 17025 STANDARDS?

The official ISO/IEC definition states that accreditation is the attestation, issued by a third party, which demonstrates the competence of a laboratory to carry out specific conformity assessment activities.

The requirements for testing, inspection or certification parties are specified in the standards of the ISO/IEC 17000 series, which serve as the basis for the specific accreditation.

The integrity checks of the pressure equipment, as briefly indicated in the meaning of the employees, are traditionally carried out, except in singular cases due to construction methods or exceptional operating conditions, combining the results of a visual examination conducted externally and, where possible, inside the vessel, supplemented by ultrasonic thickness measurements.

The periodicity of the integrity checks of the pressure equipment is regulated in Italy by Annex VII DEL DLGS 81/08
